Dr. Anlee Rola was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. She attended O'Gorman High School and then moved on to receive a bachelors of arts in both microbiology and psychology from Missouri University. From there, she received her doctor of dental surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Dr. Rola joined her father, Dr. James W. Kappenman in practice in 1977 when Dakota Dental was located at 14th and Dakota here in Sioux Falls.
Dr. Rola is married to Dr. David Rola, a veterinarian at East Acres Animal Hospital. She has three grown children: Dr. Jaclyn Schuler, her oldest, joined the practice in June of 2005. Angie recently has joined the practice and is serving as the office manager for Dakota Dental. Her youngest, Jennifer, is working in the ER at Bergan Mercy as an RN in Omaha, NE while pursuing her doctorate of nursing at Creighton University.
Dr. Rola enjoys spending time at the lake cabin, bicycling, traveling with her family, reading, water-sports, gardening, but most of all, is enjoying her role as Grandma to Dr. Schuler's children, Ava and Zach.
